Our partner CIEMAT explains in its website the HPC4E first year review

HPC4E partner CIEMAT (Centro de Investigaciones Energéticas, Medioambientales y Tecnológicas) has published in its website a piece of news explaining the review meeting of the first year of the project. The news also hightlight the work performed by CIEMAT in the project and explains more in detail the applications of biomass-derived gaseous fuel combustion in portable reformers for hydrogen production, the task that is going to be developed in the next few months by this Spanish research center.

Researcher Daniel Fernández, who attended the meeting on behalf of CIEMAT, explains that "the work of CIEMAT in this work-package consists of the numerical simulation of a flow of gases (methanol + air) through micro channels that allow the partial oxidataion of methanol for the production of synthetich gas (a mixture of hydrogen and carbon monoxide)".

The review took place on the 31 January and was hosted by INRIA Sophia Antipolis.
