HPC4E researchers Jairo Panetta (ITA) and Philippe Navaux (UFRGS) took part in a meeting held at Centro de Previsão de Tempo e Estudos Climáticos (CPTEC Cachoeira Paulista. São Paulo. Brazil) on 8 March 2017 with the aim at discussing about HPC in Brazil.
As explained in its website, CPTEC is the most advanced numerical weather and climate forecasting center in Latin America, providing high-precision short- and medium-term weather forecasts since the beginning of 1995, as well as mastering highly complex numerical modeling techniques, atmosphere and oceans, to predict future conditions.
Prof. Navaux gave a talk presenting the contribution to HPC4E project.
