Clean combustion utilisation of renewable biogas: a modelling/simulation perspective

HPC4E researcher Xi Jiang (Lancaster University / Queen Mary University of London) presented "Clean combustion utilisation of renewable biogas: a modelling/simulation perspective" at the International Bioenergy Conference and Exhibition (IBSCE 2017), held on Shanghai from 19 to 21 April 2017.

The session which include prof. Xi Jiang's presentation was "Research and Development Concerning Aspects of Gas Utilization and Emission Reduction" and it was dedicated to experimental research and developments and studies on topics related to various parts of gasification products and systems, mainly with the aim to model specific processes and to analyse test results.

As explained by the organisers, "this is the second in a series of conferences designed to bring together from around the world scientists and industry representatives implementing bioenergy technologies as part of the expansion of renewable fuels, energy and bioproducts. The conference programme has in part been based on the successful format used for the European Biomass Conference that takes place annually in Europe".
